The Fast-Drying Medium for the Arts is a zirconium-based drying agent dissolved in mineral spirits.
It is used to accelerate the curing process deep within oil paints. It can be added to commercially available tube paints or to the Artisan Pastellier oil grinding medium when grinding pigments.

The Fast-Drying Medium for the Arts is a zirconium-based drying medium dissolved in mineral spirits.
It is used to accelerate the deep-curing (through-curing) rate of oil paints. It can be added to commercially available tube paints or to the Artisan Pastellier oil grinding medium when grinding pigments.
The fast-drying medium for Pastellier's Arts also improves the quality and hardness of the oil paint film without causing yellowing; it is particularly well-suited for light colors.

Application:
For paints that are already ready to use, add 1 drop of fast-drying medium for a hazelnut-sized amount of paint, and mix thoroughly and evenly to prevent uneven hardening of the paint layer. For colors that dry slowly, you may double this amount; however, use the drying medium with caution and do not overdo it. An excess of drying agent can cause the paint layer to crack.
For those who grind their own pigments. Ideally, you can add the quick-drying medium to the grinding medium from L’Artisan Pastellier (1 drop of quick-drying medium per hazelnut-sized amount of paint); as with tube paints, you should be careful about the amount of quick-drying medium you add.

Store in the original container, reseal tightly after each use, and keep away from moisture in a well-ventilated area. Store at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
