Callifolio Azur fountain pen ink features a vivid blue of medium intensity—clear and luminous, somewhere between sky blue and denim blue—that is softer and airier than midnight blue. True to its name, it evokes the azure of the Mediterranean sky: a classic, refreshing blue that is highly legible when written. (Note: significantly lighter than the “deep midnight blue” sometimes advertised online.)
